Meet Valerie

From the age of three, Valerie spent her time growing up in the dance studio. Her dance instructors combined dance movement with Pilates. Valerie didn’t find her passion for Pilates until life changing events in 2017. She has trained classically in all styles of dance and continued her education in dance at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

With a background in Athletic training, to studying ‘Anatomy for Dancers’ at the UArts, and receiving her full certification in Pilates.Valerie’s love for anatomy has always been present. This includes ‘Mat Pilates’ as well as a full range of Pilates apparatuses.

Valerie has been instructing dance for eight years and Pilates for six years. With this dynamic background, it brings the importance of proper form to the forefront of her method.

Valerie’s passion is to teach everyone on how to safely, and in proper form move their body. She always says her method is for Every BODY and EVERYBODY. She has worked with all ages ranging from Teens - 80s. This method helps keep the body in its highest state and while helping heal your body gently and safely back to 100%. 

What truly lights her up is the transformation and bringing awareness to her client’s individual body. Along with seeing them take that knowledge into their day-to-day activities. Valerie, herself, was truly hooked in four sessions when she saw the results of her workouts. She now preaches how she will always keep moving her body in this way and will continue to do so long into her 80s moving and grooving. Let’s groove together, 5..6..7..8.
